Nonpatient Payment Activity Page Enhancements

Overview

This feature applies to customers who use the NonPatient Payment Activity Page.

We're modernizing the payment workflows, starting with the Nonpatient Payment Activity page.

Background

This page allows you to use Credit Card Plus to process payments for product purchases not associated with claim-level services. Nonmedical products such as cosmetics, diet bars, nutritional supplements, creams, lotions, or soft drinks may be purchased by patients and nonpatients. You can accept credit cards, cash, or checks for these payments.

What's new

The Nonpatient Payment Activity page has a more modern look and feel and a more efficient workflow.

For Check and Credit Card payment types, you will enter payment details on a separate page.

Different fields appear, based on the payment type you select.

Tip
Use the progress indicator at the top of the page to help you track where you are in the payment collection workflow.

  • For Payment Type: Credit Card, the Payment Type Details page is where you enter Cardholder's name, Credit card number, and other credit card details.
