Details/Instructions:

Making a call

To make a call simply dial the number into the Enter name or number field and hit the Green Call button



Muting yourself

To mute yourself during an active call, click on the Microphone. When you see the red slash through it, this means your muted.

To unmute yourself, simply click on the Microphone again.


Placing a call on Hold

To place a call on hold, click on the Pause button

Your call will look as follows when it is on hold.

To take the call off hold simply click on the Play button.


Cold transferring a call

To start a transfer hit the Phone with the arrow button that says "transfer this call"

Dial the number you want to transfer the caller to then hit Transfer Now

Note: This is a cold transfer and it is not guaranteed the person on the other end will pick up the phone


Warm transferring a call

  1. While on your call dial *2
  2. You will hear the automated voice say Transfer
  3. Dial the number you want to transfer the caller to
  4. This will place your caller on hold and call the other number
  5. If they answer, you will let them know you have someone else on the other line that they need to speak to
  6. Then end the call and they will be connected.


Making a second active call

When you have a call on the line but need to call a 3rd party you can input the number and hit the green Call button. This will automatically place your current call on hold and call the other number.

Once they answer you will now have two active calls. You can place both on hold if need be, but both cannot be active at the same time.


Merging calls

To merge your two active calls you can simply click the three dots next to the End Call button and select Merge Calls

The calls will now merge into a Conference Call and you will now see both Caller IDs(CIDs) in the active call. 

Note: Hitting the End Call button on one of the numbers will drop that person off, however if you hit the main End Call button then it will end the call for all three callers


Conference call

To begin a conference call click on the three dots next to the End Call button of your active call and select Invite to Conference Call

In the Enter name or number field in the active call type the number and hit Add


You will now see both Caller IDs(CIDs) in the active call. 


Note: Hitting the End Call button on one of the numbers will drop that person off, however if you hit the main End Call button then it will end the call for all three callers


Ending a call

To end a call, simply click on the red End Call button in the right hand corner of the active call



Adding/calling a contact

To view your contacts click on the silhouette of a person at the bottom of your softphone. To add a contact click on the silhouette of a person with the plus sign next to Search Contacts 


The Contact Profile window will open.

  • You can choose which Group to place the new contact in by using the dropdown next to Group.
  • Adding a first name and last name will automatically set the Display name. You can change this if you wish by typing in that field.
  • Choose what type of phone number you're adding from the dropdown that is pre-selected to Work (work, home, mobile, etc), type the number in the field next to it and then select Add. 

Note: You can add more than one number for a single contact.

Once done hit OK.


Calling a Contact

When viewing your contacts you can click on the phone next to the person's name that you wish to call. This will call their primary phone number. 

Alternatively you can click on their name in the Contact list and a mini profile window will open with all of that contact's numbers listed. Click on the one you wish to call and it will begin calling.

From the mini profile window you can also click on Profile to open the full Profile menu and make changes as needed.
