Description:
The following instructions detail how to install the softphone application from 123Net on a Windows based computer.
Note: The use of this software requires a softphone account provided by Wayne Health IT. If you need an account you will need to have your manager contact the helpdesk at [email protected] or 313-448-9999
Instructions:
- If you do not already see the 123net shortcut on your desktop click on your Start Menu at the bottom right
- In the search type Software then click on Software Center
- Once the Software Center opens you can type 123net into the search bar at the top right and hit Enter
- Click on 123Net Softphone
- Click Install
- Once the installer finishes, click Finish
- Locate the 123Net Softphone Icon on the desktop of the computer and double click to open the program.
- Enter your email and password provided to you from WH IT Helpdesk, the email will be titled "Access to Work Phone using Softphone App"
- I recommend checking the option Remember sign in information so you don't have to put your username and password in every time
- You can also check the option Sign in Automatically if you would like so the app automatically signs in when you launch it
- Click on Sign In
- When/if prompted to enter a License Key, enter 1800DHPCN31YDYT89MP3N0201 it into the Top field and click “Add” then click Done.
- Once logged in, you will see a number pad. You can use the pad to dial out.
